Director, Development
Agape, a non-profit child and family services agency is seeking a dynamic, motivated and assertive Director of Development. The Director of Development, leads a team in the development/volunteerism /communications department activities of Agape. In partnership with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all of Agape’s fundraising including, the major gifts, annual fund, planned giving, special events and capital campaigns. The Director of Development will help forge new relationships to build Agape’s visibility, impact, and financial resources. The Director of Development will also participate in the development design and implement a comprehensive plan for developing key external alliances by cultivating individual and philanthropic support.

Education & Experience Required:
Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Social Work or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in development, sales, communications or other equivalent. Demonstrated success in a development capacity managing and forging relationship with multiple donor sources. Foundation relationship and grant writing experience. Desired candidate has demonstrated success in marketing, public relations, and major fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders. Professional and resourceful style, with the ability to work both independently and as a team player. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects. High energy and passion for the Agape mission vision and values. Should possess outstanding organizational and management skills, possess leadership qualities, be business-oriented and be able to perform multi-tasking, should have excellent communication skills both written and oral. Should be able to work as a link between organization and employee. Detailed and results oriented. Demonstrated excellent computer skills. Will be required to work a flexible schedule; possibly be available evenings and weekends. Candidate must be willing to engage in Agape’s Performance Quality and Improvement (also known as Continuous Quality Improvement) standards of quality & excellence.

Office Manager
The Office Manager will be responsible for developing inter- and intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures (continuous quality improvement; risk management; facilities logistics and control, staff orienting and training; office staff supervision and task delegation). Responsible for overall front office activities, including the reception area, mail, and facilities. Also responsible for directing and coordinating office services and related activities, including developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of services and equipment. Supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement and housekeeping of office facilities.

Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills or abilities for this position with at least 3 years of relevant experience; Experienced and well-organized person to handle day-to-day operations with a focus on excellence and efficiency. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Experience with management and logistics software systems desired. Candidate must be willing to engage in Agape’s Performance Quality and Improvement (also known as Continuous Quality Improvement) standards of quality & excellence.
